The Fall 2020

Somehow the summer has come and gone without anyone noticing… This is admittedly not how I imagined my first year of business going, but there are much more important things afoot. 

It has been so heartening to be on the receiving end of the outpouring of support for small art businesses especially at the beginning of the Pandemic, and I am humbled. Somehow the creative wind got knocked out of me, and I have continuously struggled to put “pen to paper” in a metalsmithing sense. Knowing you all are out there somewhere makes me want to create, and for that I thank you!

Since March I have joined Hamilton Hill Jewelry in a flexible capacity as they continue to navigate the ever changing landscape of high end retail during an apocalypse. I have learned so much through my role as marketing person, photographer, administrator, sales person, and now goldsmith’s assistant. It is such an honor to work beside Ken Weston and learn the tricks of the trade in a new context. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be steeped in the world of jewelry on so many levels.

Through incremental steps and brief moments of creativity, I have gathered together a new batch of jewelry for The Fall so you can look amazing as the world falls to pieces. New pieces will be uploaded to my shop on Wednesday, October 14 at 12pm!

In dedication to mutual aid in good times and in bad, %30 of profit from sales will go to a local Durham organization called Fed Up. Learn more about it here. 

In hopes of presenting you all with more new designs for the Holidays, I will no longer be accepting commissions this year. That is unless you are looking for ceremonial jewelry such as commitment bands, or engagement jewelry etc... I am always open to starting that process with you, and am committed to working within your budget.
